Terms of service (draft)
The draft agreement between MBEE Technologies and its customers covering Express packages, payments, content and custom projects.
This page is a working draft written to describe how MBEE Technologies intends to operate. It has not yet been reviewed or approved by a qualified Kenyan lawyer and must be before launch. Items that need verification are listed at the end.
Express packages
- The package you select, its price, renewal price and limits are recorded at the time you order. A later price change does not alter an existing order.
- Work begins after the deposit is verified. The 7-day delivery target starts when we also have your minimum content and pauses while we wait for you or the domain registry.
- Each package includes the stated rounds of changes. More changes are quoted and approved before they are done.
Domain and hosting

Payments
Default terms are a 50% deposit and the balance before launch. A payment is treated as received only once verified. Refund and cancellation terms are to be finalised.
Your content
You confirm you have the right to use the text, logos and images you give us. We may refuse content that is unlawful or infringes others’ rights.
Custom projects
Custom work is governed by a written quotation and contract that sets scope, milestones, payment, acceptance, change control and warranty. Changes in scope are priced and approved before work proceeds.
Liability
Limits of liability and warranty are to be drafted by counsel.

- Consumer protection obligations and plain-language requirements.
- Limitation of liability and warranty wording.
- Tax: VAT registration status, rate, invoice requirements and e-invoicing obligations.
- Intellectual property ownership of delivered work and template reuse.
- Acceptable-use rules for hosted sites.
