How much does a MBEE Express website cost?
Setup prices are Duka Starter KSh 5,000, Duka Plus KSh 8,000, Business Pro KSh 11,000, Business Max KSh 15,000. Each includes the first year of a standard .co.ke domain, managed hosting and HTTPS. The price you see is the price you pay for setup; any applicable tax is shown separately on your quote and invoice. Extras such as business email are itemised and only charged after you approve them.
What happens after the first year?
From year two there is an annual renewal for your domain, hosting and HTTPS: Duka Starter KSh 2,500, Duka Plus KSh 3,000, Business Pro KSh 4,000, Business Max KSh 5,000. We email and message you 60, 30, 14 and 7 days before it is due. If our costs change we give at least 60 days’ written notice and you may decline and move your domain elsewhere.
What does "ready within 7 days" mean?
The 7-day delivery target starts when your deposit is verified and we have your minimum content (business name, contact details, what you sell, your location and a domain preference). It pauses while we wait for you or for the domain registry, and we show the clock in your order portal. It is a target for the work we control, not a guarantee against delays outside our control.
Will I own my domain?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name as the registrant. MBEE Technologies provides the hosting and, if you agree, administers renewals for you. You can ask for a handover or transfer at any time, and we document how.
Can you guarantee my preferred domain name is available?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Availability is only confirmed when we check with the registry. Until then your order shows the domain as not yet checked, and we offer alternatives if your first choice is taken.
What is not included in Express?
Online checkout, logins and databases, stock synchronisation, ERP/MIS/LMS systems, custom integrations, mobile apps and unlimited revisions are not part of the fixed packages. They are quoted individually under Custom Development, and you can start with an Express site and grow into them.
How do I pay?
The default is a 50% deposit to start and the balance after you approve your preview and before your site goes public. We confirm payment instructions with you after you place your order, and we only start work once the payment is verified. A payment screenshot is not treated as payment until it has been checked.
Can MBEE Technologies build something much bigger?
Yes. MBEE Technologies also builds custom software and enterprise systems, quoted after a discovery conversation. There is no maximum project size. Request a quote and tell us what you want to build.
What happens to my information?
We collect only what is needed to build and support your site, keep it private, and do not send promotional messages unless you opt in. See the privacy notice (currently a draft pending legal review).
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Terms, which are currently a draft pending legal review. Until they are approved, ask us before you pay and we will confirm in writing.
